Best TiviMate Alternative for Firestick & Android TV (2026)

TiviMate is a well-known player. If you want one with no ads, free on Google Play for Android, and quick channel changes, Vantix Player is worth a test on the same M3U or Xtream Codes source.

Vantix is a player. It does not provide channels, playlists or subscriptions.

Vantix Player vs TiviMate

Both are players: neither supplies channels. The Vantix column is what the app does today. The TiviMate column holds only widely documented points, and "Not compared here" means we have not tested it.

How to get TiviMate Premium on Firestick without a PC or Companion App

A Firestick has no Google Play, so TiviMate Premium cannot be bought on the Firestick itself. TiviMate sells Premium through a separate app, TiviMate Companion, which runs on an Android phone. Without an Android phone, the usual way to buy TiviMate Premium with a PC is to run TiviMate Companion in an Android emulator, pay there, then sign in to the same account on the Firestick.

There is no way around that step for TiviMate itself: Companion is how Premium is sold. If you would rather skip it, Vantix Player sells Pro inside the app on the Firestick, through Amazon's own in-app purchasing:

  • Install Vantix from the Amazon Appstore on the Firestick. No phone app, PC or emulator is needed.
  • Use every feature free for 15 days on your own M3U or Xtream Codes source.
  • Unlock Vantix Pro on the TV with the remote: Lifetime for a one-time $19.99, or optional Yearly $9.99 or Monthly $2.49.
  • Amazon handles the payment with your Amazon account, and subscriptions are managed in Amazon's settings.

Official store activation, no Companion app

With TiviMate Premium, activation is spread over two devices: install Companion on an Android phone or an emulator, buy there, then sign in to that account on the Firestick. Vantix Pro is activated where you watch. You pick a plan with the remote, confirm in Amazon's own purchase window, and Pro unlocks on that Fire TV. There is no second app, no extra account and no activation code to type: the purchase goes through your Amazon account.

TiviMate's purchase steps are described from its widely documented process and may change. Check TiviMate's own instructions before you buy.

Is there a TiviMate APK Mod or Unlocked Version for 2026?

Third-party sites offer "TiviMate Premium APK", "mod" and "unlocked" downloads. None of them come from TiviMate's developer. Using one breaks TiviMate's terms, and an app changed by a stranger can carry malware with access to your home network and to the IPTV login you type into it. Modded builds also miss the official updates, so they tend to break when the real app changes.

The safe options are the official ones: TiviMate Premium bought through TiviMate Companion, or a player you can download officially. Vantix Player is one:

  • Official downloads only: the Amazon Appstore for Fire TV and Google Play for Android TV and phones
  • 15 days free on Fire TV with every feature unlocked, so there is nothing to crack
  • Free on Google Play, with no ads in any version
  • Built for quick channel changes: the last frame stays on screen while the next channel loads

Vantix does not link to, host or support modified apps of any kind.

Questions cord-cutters ask

What is the best free alternative to TiviMate on Firestick?

Vantix Player is one to try. It has no ads and plays your own M3U or Xtream Codes source. On Android TV and Android phones it is free on Google Play. On a Firestick it comes from the Amazon Appstore with 15 days free and every feature unlocked, then Vantix Pro: Lifetime for a one-time $19.99, or optional Yearly at $9.99 or Monthly at $2.49. Try it on the same playlist you use now before you switch.

Is there a TiviMate alternative for iOS and Apple TV?

TiviMate has no iOS or Apple TV app. Vantix Player runs today on Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Android phones and tablets, and its versions for iOS, Apple TV and macOS are in App Store review (coming soon). For iPhone and iPad there is Vantix Cast, a separate app on the App Store that casts web videos, photos and files to your TV, Apple TV included through AirPlay. It is not an IPTV playlist player.

Can I use TiviMate on iPhone or Apple TV?

No. TiviMate is Android-only: it runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, and there is no TiviMate app for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. Vantix Player for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV is in App Store review (coming soon). Vantix Cast is on the App Store now for iPhone and iPad: it casts web videos, photos and files to your TV, Apple TV included through AirPlay, but it is not an IPTV playlist player.

Does Vantix support Xtream Codes and M3U like TiviMate?

Yes. Vantix plays M3U playlists, as a link or a file, and Xtream Codes accounts. TiviMate supports both formats too, so you can try the same source in each. Vantix provides no playlists or channels: you add your own, from a source you are authorized to use.

Is Vantix a good alternative to TiviMate?

It can be, if you want a player for your own M3U playlist or Xtream Codes account on Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV. Vantix adds a streaming-style home, an EPG guide with catch-up, Multi-View, Google Cast, a phone app, QR setup and Cloud Sync. TiviMate is an established player with its own strengths, so the fair test is your own setup. Vantix is free on Google Play and free for 15 days on Fire TV, so you can try it on the same playlist before you switch.

Does Vantix charge yearly renewal fees or have ads?

Vantix has no ads in any version. On Google Play it is free. On Fire TV, from the Amazon Appstore, you get 15 days free with every feature, then Vantix Pro: Lifetime for a one-time $19.99 with no renewal, or an optional Yearly subscription at $9.99 or Monthly at $2.49 that renew until you cancel. A yearly renewal is a choice, not a requirement.

What makes Vantix's channel zapping faster than older IPTV players?

Vantix is built so changing channels feels quick. It keeps the last frame on screen while the next channel loads, shows the new channel's name, logo and programme at once, and only starts a channel when you press OK, so scrolling the list does not load every channel you pass. Live channels load first while movies, series and the guide finish in the background, and 4K and HEVC streams are decoded in hardware where the chip can. How fast a channel starts also depends on your provider's stream and your device.

Which platforms does Vantix support?

Vantix runs on Android TV and Google TV sets and boxes, on Amazon Fire TV from the Amazon Appstore (Fire OS 6 or newer), and on Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or newer. Versions for Apple TV, iOS and macOS are in App Store review (coming soon). It does not run on Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) TVs or on Roku.
