Pick the video
Open a page in the Vantix Cast browser, or choose a photo or file. Ads and pop-ups are blocked while you browse.
Choose your screen
Tap Cast to TV. Every TV on your Wi-Fi is listed, with the Web Receiver at the end for the rest.
Control it from the phone
The TV Remote tab scrubs, pauses, skips 10 seconds and sets the volume where the TV allows it.
Questions
Which smart TVs does a universal cast app need to work with?
Ideally the one you own, without a second app. Vantix Cast speaks the four ways TVs accept video: Google Cast (Chromecast and Google TV), DLNA / UPnP (most Samsung and LG sets), Roku, and AirPlay 2 (Apple TV and AirPlay 2 TVs). For anything else with a browser, including Fire TV, a console or a car, it has a Web Receiver.
Does Vantix Cast work with Samsung and LG TVs?
Yes, on sets that accept DLNA / UPnP, which includes most Samsung and LG smart TVs. Videos and photos go over your home Wi-Fi. Samsung and LG sets with AirPlay 2 can also be reached through Apple's AirPlay menu.
How do I cast to a Fire TV?
Through the Web Receiver. On the Fire TV, open vantix.tv/receiver in the Silk browser and enter the 5-digit TV code shown in Vantix Cast, or the address it shows. Keep the Fire TV and the iPhone on the same Wi-Fi.
Does Vantix Cast mirror my iPhone screen?
No. It sends the video itself, so the TV plays it in full quality while you keep using your phone.
Is there a version for Android?
Vantix Cast is for iPhone and iPad. On Android, Vantix Player, the IPTV player, has Google Cast built in.
